Wild Oak Weddings

Do we need to meet up before the wedding?

It's definitely important to have a chat beforehand to get to know each other a little bit, as well as hearing about your wedding day plans. I find the most convenient way is to arrange a phone or Skype call where we can go over your plans, how I work and learn a bit about your priorities for the photography on the day. I can also answer any questions you may have.

How early do I need to book?

I often get booked up a year in advance, but if you've left it late or been let down please get in touch as I may be able to help.

Do you travel?

Yes, I love to travel. I shoot the majority of my weddings around Bristol and the South West, but I'm equally happy to travel to other parts of the country, if my schedule allows for it. And if it's a destination wedding you have in mind I'd love to hear about it!

Are you insured?

Yes, I have full public liability insurance.

Do we feed you?

Yes please. Weddings are long days and I'll be on my feet all day, moving around. I'll eat while you and your guests have dinner and no one wants photos of themselves eating. That way I'll be refuelled for the speeches and the rest of the evening.

How many images will we get?

You'll receive un watermarked, high resolution images – around 300-400 for a shorter day and around 500-600 for a full day.

After the wedding when will we see our photos?

It's best to allow upto 12 weeks to allow me time to go through all the images and edit them for you. Often they will be ready sooner, but during peak times it can take upto the full 12 weeks. Once they are ready you'll get a download link to access all the high res images, as well as a USB in the post.

What if our guests want photos?

No problem! You'll have access to a password protected gallery that your guests can access to download any of the images they want to.

When are our payments due?

I split the invoices across three equal payments to make it more manageable to pay and assure that you're not lumped with another big bill close to your wedding day. I'll take a 33% booking fee when you book me, to reserve your day, the next instalment will be due six months before the wedding, and the final payment will be due four weeks prior to the date.

How can we book?

Just drop me an email with the package you’d like to book and the location and date of your wedding. We can then arrange a no obligation zoom call. If you decide to go ahead I'll take a booking fee and the date will be yours.
